CSX and the Massachusetts Community

  • In partnership with state and local economic development agencies, Massachusetts businesses invested more than $78 million in new or expanded rail-served facilities on CSX or its connecting regional and short lines in 2015. These investments will generate more than 80 new jobs at those businesses.
  • In 2015, CSX contributed more than $1.7 million to organizations in Massachusetts, including the Worcester Regional Research Bureau, Pegasus Foundation, Massachusetts Operation Lifesaver, City Year, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
