Ports

  • In Florida, CSX serves 12 ports, including the Everglades, Fernandina Beach, Fort Myers, Fort Pierce, Jacksonville, Miami, Palm Beach, Panama City, Pensacola, Port Manatee, Port St. Joe, and Tampa. CSX’s rail network connects Florida ports to domestic markets throughout North America.

CSX and the Florida Community

  • In partnership with state and local economic development agencies, Florida businesses invested more than $133.6 million in new or expanded rail-served facilities on CSX or its connecting regional and short lines in 2015. These investments will generate approximately 125 new jobs at those businesses.
  • CSX has designated the Cecil Commerce Center Mega Site in Jacksonville and the Ocala/Marion County Commerce Park in Ocala as “Select Sites,” rail-served, ready-to-build locations for industrial development and expansion. The “Select Site” program is part of CSX’s network-wide economic development initiative.
  • In 2015, CSX sponsored multiple management trainee programs, tree giveaways and tree planting events in Jacksonville.
  • CSX is a founding sponsor of City Year Miami, City Year Orlando and City Year Jacksonville. Through its partnership with City Year, CSX is helping to strengthen education in major cities throughout the United States.
  • In 2015, CSX contributed nearly $3 million to organizations in Florida, including Habitat for Humanity, Dignity U Wear Foundation, Florida Operation Lifesaver, American Red Cross and various health, environmental and safety organizations.

*** The Central Florida Intermodal Logistics Center (CFILC) in Winter Haven is owned by the Evansville Western Railway (EVWR). CSX has contracted with EVWR to provide intermodal terminal services at the CFILC.
