July 8, 2021 – The Jacksonville Business Journal has named Salmaan Wahidi, CSX senior director of Commercial Finance, to its 2021 honor role of 40 executives under age 40 who are having a positive impact on the local business community.

Since joining CSX as a financial analyst 14 years ago, Salmaan has risen through increasingly important roles, providing finance support for Sales and Marketing, Operations and Labor Relations. The financial planning and analysis contributions of Salmaan and his team were crucial to the success of CSX’s operational transformation and emergence as an industry leader.

In the community, Salmaan is a member of the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens General Board of Directors and the FSU Department of Finance Professional Advocacy Board. He also previously chaired the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council served on the University of North Florida Transportation and Logistics Council.

Salmaan holds a master of business administration degree and bachelor of science degree in finance, both from Florida State University.
