November 20, 2020 – Progressive Railroading and RailTrends have named CSX President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Foote the winner of the 2020 Railroad Innovator Award. A cover story about Jim’s visionary leadership at CSX appears in the November 2020 issue of Progressive Railroading magazine, and the award was presented at the RailTrends 2020 virtual conference on Nov. 20.

The award recognizes individual outstanding achievement in the rail industry, but Jim says, “Clearly, this is recognition belongs to every CSX railroader who has embraced our operating model and transformed us into the best-run railroad in America.”
