February 5, 2025 – Diana Sorfleet, CSX executive vice president and chief administrative officer, was honored as one of the Women of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council during the annual Winter Soirée on Jan. 30 at the Adam W. Herbert University Center in Jacksonville, Fla.
The event recognizes women who demonstrate exceptional leadership, professional achievements, and dedication to community service. Sorfleet was celebrated alongside Whitney Meyer of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dr. Olayemi Sokumbi of the Mayo Clinic.
“We highlight the incredible impact of women in leadership across Jacksonville,” said Wendy Dordel, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. “This recognition is a tribute to the trailblazers who are shaping the future for the women leaders of tomorrow.”
Sorfleet has played a pivotal role at CSX, championing innovation and inclusion throughout the organization. Her leadership aligns with the core mission of the Girl Scouts, which seeks to instill courage, confidence, and character in young women.
The Women of Distinction event also highlighted mentees who shared personal stories about the impact of their mentors. One participant credited her mentor’s guidance for teaching her the importance of building connections and carrying herself with confidence.
