CSX's Tammy Butler Honored as Jacksonville 'Woman of Influence'

August 11, 2022 – CSX Vice President Tammy Butler has been named a Woman of Influence by the Jacksonville (Fla.) Business Journal for her corporate and community leadership.

Tammy is among 21 First Coast women recognized by the publication for demonstrating leadership that has “helped their companies grow, shaped the next generation and provided a model for the community.”

Throughout her 16-year career at CSX, Tammy has made significant contributions to the company’s business success, most recently as vice president of Internal Audit and Compliance. Her diverse skill set as a Florida State Bar-certified attorney and certified public account have enabled her to play a key role in several important company initiatives, including the recent $525 million infrastructure transaction between CSX and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Among her many community activities, Tammy is a member of the board of City Year Jacksonville, which creates opportunities for young adults to volunteer in Duval County schools. She also supports the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative, the Railyard District Council, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and the Jacksonville Urban League.
