September 16, 2024 - In August, CSX partnered with First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF) to support National Night Out events across its network. This annual initiative is designed to improve the relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve, promoting positive police-community partnerships.
Since 2018, CSX and FRCF have collaborated to support the children of first responders through scholarships, financial assistance grants, and bereavement aid. This year, they supported more than 30 National Night Out events, distributing over 15,000 toys and providing essential railroad safety information.
CSX Police aimed to build meaningful connections with residents during the National Night Out events. By providing important safety information and resources and helping ensure there were engaging activities to take part in, the officers embodied the CSX commitment to help build stronger, safer communities.
For highlights of CSX’s participation in some of the events, view the below video.
