Finance Management Trainee
The Finance Management Training Program is a 6-month rotational program aimed at developing the skills of future business leaders within the CSX Finance department.
The Finance department provides information and analyses that improve decision-making and financial performance, while maintaining effective financial controls. The department supports internal functions within CSX, the largest of which are the Commercial and Operating functions. Finance also serves external constituents including the investment community, lenders and shareholders.
During the finance rotational assignments, participants will receive ongoing weekly training from finance managers throughout CSX as well as one week of railroad field training. At the end of each rotational assignment, trainees will present their analyses to senior management. Thorough performance management reviews will also be completed following each rotation.
Upon conclusion of the training period, trainees will be placed in a financial analyst position in Jacksonville, Fla.
