The REDI Center
The majority of new CSX employees will be trained at the state-of-the-art Railroad Education and Development Institute (REDI) in Atlanta, Ga. Since its opening in 2005, more than 12,000 students have gained professional training as conductors, locomotive engineers, management trainees, yardmasters, communications and signal works, track workers, and more. REDI is the starting point for training that is critical to a professional railroader.
