CSX Waste Hauler Certificate: CSX holds certification as a hazardous waste transporter.

Permit of Equivalent Level of Environmental Safety: Outlines rail requirements for transporting hazardous waste in Canada. CSX Transportation is a party to the permit held by the Rail Association of Canada.

Hazardous Waste Signature Request Form: Shippers of hazardous wastes can be pre-approved to sign manifests as "Transporter 1" on behalf of CSX. Submission of this form, along with the requested documents, starts the review process.

Radioactive Waste

Shipments of low-level radioactive waste intended for disposal at a licensed land disposal facility require special manifests.
