Site Background: The Chinook megasite is composed of approximately 2,000 acres of undisturbed farmland and woodland along with approximately 5,000 acres of reclaimed strip mine land. The site is located 70 miles west of Indianapolis with visibility from I-70. It can be served by the Indiana Rail Road.
